UT has partnered with pop art pioneers Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat for many years. Legendary artists born in New York have left various works to the world so that people can enjoy art more closely. Please feel the joy of wearing pop art that has been loved throughout the ages.
Jean-Michel Basquiat
An artist who was an icon in New York in the 1980s. Despite his short period of activity, he is famous for his works inspired by street art, which he began when he was a teenager, as well as numerous unique images related to works in art history. In Basquiat's paintings, drawings, and prints, you can see a variety of subjects, from African culture, Aztec culture, and Greek culture to American cultural elements such as jazz, baseball, and social and political events.
