I haven't used this shoe bag for washing yet, but it's a good size for a pair of shoes and opens/closes well, so there's no reason why it wouldn't do the job without any problems :-)

Super product. It is quite large. I assumed it would be smaller.. it has a plastic smell. I hope it disappears after the first wash.

Very roomy, a pair of sneakers and two pairs of sandals fit at the same time! I recommend!
