[Specifications] Diorama base assembly kit
[Scale] 1/172
[Completed size] Approximately 241mm x 144mm x 69mm
[Type] Laser processing & 3D printed products
This is a base model for a diorama of the flight deck and hangar of a Japanese Navy aircraft carrier.
A Type 96 triple 25mm machine gun and a worker pocket are placed on the side. The flight deck is large enough to hold one aircraft, and the hangar is large enough to hold one aircraft with its wings folded.
The parts consist of the flight deck and hangar deck, which are molded onto acrylic plates using laser processing, the machine gun which is 3D printed, and the other parts made of paper sheets of three different thicknesses cut out using laser processing.
The details inside the hangar were designed using photos of Ryujo under construction, and the flight deck and sides were designed using Hiryu's drawings, but please note that this is not a scale model of a specific aircraft carrier.
The sample photo is a painted and completed diorama example. Please note that some photos include aircraft and figures, but they are not included.
*Paint and adhesive are required separately for assembly. *Please note that this is not a finished product.
The painting is the same as the plastic model, and acrylic paint can be used.
*There is surface protective paper on the front and back of the flight deck, so please peel it off before use.
*Laser processed parts are covered with soot generated during laser processing. Please clean it before use to avoid deforming the parts.
*The machine gun is a 3D printed model manufactured by a 3D printing company. Because it was output by a 3D printer that creates three-dimensionality by laminating acrylic resin, there are some traces of lamination on the surface.
