As soon as I got this sharpening tool I gave my everyday knives a quick going over and in seconds they had a fantastic edge back. It's so easy to use and does such a great job. If you are someone who cooks a lot then you will save yourself a lot of frustration by getting one of these tools and keeping your knives in the best shape at all times. It's better than a steel and a gentle touch up makes such a difference.

Slightly smaller than shown. But very good for sharpening small knives. Less suitable for large kitchen knives. The quality of workmanship is very good. That's why 4 stars. Have all my pocket knives and steak knives sharpened.

Handle - the handle could be metal, the plastic one bends, etc. but all in all ok, we'll see how long the sharpening abrasive part will stay in place
