●Instrument used: Walter & Son 1808-10 Vienna flip-up type 73 keys A=420Hz● One of the biggest discoveries in Beethoven research in the 1990s was the discovery and complementary restoration of the author's score of the piano sextet version of Piano Concerto No. 4 by Hans-Werner Küten. This kind of arrangement was common in the 19th century. In addition to the piano trio version included on this CD, more than 10 other arrangements of Symphony No. 2 were published during Beethoven's lifetime, including a piano duet version and a string quartet version. Reproducing them using representative pianos from the same period can be said to be extremely valuable from a sociological perspective of the diversity and richness of music reception in the 19th century.
