Installation Instructions for Chrome Foot Rest Pedal Cover
Preparation:
» Install the Chrome Rest Pedal Cover in a dry and dust-free environment.
» After removing the product from its packaging, perform a trial installation on the area where it will be applied, without removing the protective layer of the double-sided tape.
Surface Cleaning:
» Thoroughly clean the surface where the pedal cover will be adhered using a cleaning liquid like alcohol.
» Do not use liquids containing additives, such as wet wipes or gasoline, as they may affect adhesion.
Temperature Requirements:
» The ambient temperature during installation should be between 15°C and 35°C. If the temperature is below 15°C, warm the surface with a hairdryer or a similar tool before installation to ensure the double-sided tape adheres properly.
Adhesion Process:
» After removing the protective layer from the tape, you can use a hair dryer to gently warm the adhesive, which will enhance its bonding strength.
» Once heated, carefully apply the strip to the cleaned surface in one motion.
» Use a dry cloth to press firmly on the strip to ensure strong adhesion.
Aftercare:
» Protect the applied product from water for at least 24 hours.
» Avoid washing the area with high-pressure water for 48 hours to ensure the adhesive sets properly.
