The fourth installment in the extremely popular horror action adventure series "Resident Evil" that started on PlayStation. It was ported from the Dreamcast version with additional scenes added.
The story begins three months after Claire, one of the main characters in Resident Evil 2, escaped from Raccoon City. Claire travels to Europe based on a little clue from her brother Chris. However, he is captured by someone and transferred to a prison on a remote island. There, he meets another main character, Steve, and ends up escaping from prison.
The basic system is the same as the previous series works. There are also plenty of bonus modes that are familiar throughout the series. This time, there will be a battle mode, a game in which you have to annihilate all the targets on a special map, the main character's costume will change, and you will be able to use enemy characters.
